This pair may feel like the gold Skytop II’s that dropped a while back and thats because it uses the same color scheme just flipped. The mainly black leather shoe also features a wide mouthed mesh for accenting along with metallic gold strips running along the ankle. A vulcanized leather sole finishes things off for a look that definitely has us waiting on warm weather. These are available now at Factory 413.

The Spiz’ikes are one of the fusion/mash releases from the Jordan Brand that the fans have embraced and enjoyed, partly due to the influence of Spike Lee, who was such a pivotal character in Michael Jordan’s rise with Nike since the beginning. The character that he is most famous for among sneakerheads, Mars Blackmon gets his time to shine next January with the release of the Mars Blackmon edition of the Air Jordan Spiz’ikes.
The shoe features a White leather upper with touches of Black, Fire Red and Blue, as well as some original Grey Elephant print on the heel. To add some extra Spike-related touches, the kicks also sport a “Do You Know?” all-over print lining, a Mars lace lock and a Mars Blackmon illustration on the insole along with the tag line, “Fresh Since 1985″ printed below.

From a far, the Alpha 1 looks very much like the original but as you examine things more closely, slight changes are incorporated into the overall design such as a different midsole and outsole. The signature Wings logo on the side is preserved alongside more contemporary logos and markings on the heel. The Air Jordan Alpha 1 (I) Black/Varsity Red will release at Kinetics on December 23rd.

These showed up on eBay recently, and unless you’re very tiny-footed, you’re out of luck on grabbing a wearable pair as they’re a size 6. The uppers are all metallic gold with hits of black on the midfoot and laces. Chad Muska’s name and “002″ appear on the Air Jordan 6-styled tongue, denoting that this is his second Skytop signature. via Nice Kicks
